This is really, breathtaking. I've read every word, and looked at every image. What is the medium (not that it matters... the vision is what's important.)
This is obviously much studied subject matter. You are aware of the universe. You are aware of our connection within and outside of it. You think in terms of spirals. Within and without. Consciousness.
This (your) work has really made me think for days. I dabble in a little study of quantum physics and and relativity. I enjoy stretching my mind. Although, I don't grasp the math, which I really wish I could, I can appreciate it in artistic forms. And yours, well, your work really takes the cake in terms of artistically and philosophically portraying the inner and the outer.

You are an exceptional artist, and I can always take time to converse about this really great stuff you've produced!
First of all, the medium... this looks as if you've painted film with gel ink. The effect is really remarkable. But the concept and the subject are truly fascinating. The diagrams need some explaining. I've looked at them quite often since you posted them, and I'm blown away. I feel like I'm in shaman class with a bunch of very important information scribbled on the board that I have to learn from!

you confused me at first, Dawno, I thought you were ashes2infinity, just like you thought I was him. Its my fault that you did because I hit reply on your comment on accident. I really hope he is ok too. It seems his art has attracted many a shamanic student. I've been seeing many a bad omen, but I refuse to accept the direction they are pointing as I believe a2i can win his battle against this dis-ease. so in the mean time why don't you tell me about your experiences in shamanism, maybe we can learn something from one another. have you encountered any of this knowledge from this piece before?

Oh, I'm sorry mistook you for him. And I was so happy to hear from 'him' again. But alas, he is still awol. I don't know him well, but I am worried about him. Healthcare (or 'sick-care' as I've come to refer to it) in the States without a good insurance plan is desperate, I understand. I live in Canada, so we have a deteriorating medicare system, which is better, I should say, than what can be expected in the US. Send positive thoughts to our shamanic friend.

He posted these pieces just before he got really sick, and I haven't heard much from him since. I have been looking at them over and over, and they are the most intriguing artworks that I have in my fav gallery. Something for more study, fo sho!

I really am on a path. A real journey. But I must admit that I am gleaning everything I know about life from books, art, and experience... hearing other peoples' stories and accounts of their knowledge is very exciting. I am on an artist's trip, not a shamanic trip, but they are, really, one in the same, no?

Everything I learn, I am incorporating into my art. Life is so rich. And people are magic, with our conscious knowledge about our being. I want to learn as much as I can about art and music, psychology and philosophy, intuition and magic, religion and spirituality. I have learned some things; kind of a jack-of-all-trades/master-of-none, if you know what I mean.

what you said about thinking in spirals is great - i had written a journal about how i lost a spiral notebook and my identification/liscense.
i asked, "where is my spiral"
in the airs, the sea, your headspace & outer space.
then asked, "where is my i.d.?"
same question, same answer.
