Perfect timing for this one!
I'm a professional weirdo...

This digital painting was quite an experience, it ended up being an "ancestral tree" (kind of a funny idea to begin with) much by it's own accord. The ancestral, or interdimensional being's face came out on it's own, at which point extremely minimal measures were taken to very lightly accentuate the features. The whole end product kind of revolved around the face, as an emanation both pulling inward and drifting outward at once.
The attempt with this work was to, through the application of the spheres, actually put the user in the fabric of the tree outside of the glowing border. Inside the glow is the life source of this tree.
I think it is both independant of the viewer and the ancestor, but is the holy breathing walls of the place where they meet. It is autonomous and has it's own spirit, and is at the same time interdependant alongside us and our ancestors...it is the union of all these that sacred could be better understood.

When things get weird...really weird, you are becoming effective.
There are endless ways to use the body, endless shapes the body will know.
Enter into the breathing walls.
I have witnessed those who glow as union of all these things.
I need the you, you need the me.

Yes. This is both power and passion enough.

Where I am now, music is not allowed (aloud), but fortunately == with the right software == a painting like this converts into a lovely sub-aquatic song, like whale music.

I hear infinite ashes singing of phoenix trees burning in forests of ancient night, lovely, dark and deep beneath an ocean of possibilities... It seems I almost remember the words to that half-forgotten chant...

I really like the form and structure. Beautifully colored and designed. I personally think weird is a very good thing in art:).
